This 1950s necklace and earring set has clear rhinestones and pink teardrop stones. It measures 2 inches in length. It has been displayed on a one-inch-square quilters mat to show the quality and condition of the piece. There is only one stone missing from the necklace. As with all antique and vintage pieces, there will be some wear and tear. However, any defects will be noted to the best of our ability.
There are several types of parures. One style is the diamond and aquamarine parure, which was given to Queen Elizabeth II by the Brazilian government. Throughout the 20th century, various pieces were presented to the Queen in a coordinated set. Another version is a demi-parure, which has fewer matching pieces. The latter term is used to describe any suite of jewels without a tiara.
